Moving Silver Studies

Five ways a piece could keep answering sound after it leaves the casting room, each built from Livia's print-and-cast pipeline plus hobby electronics for under €200 in parts. Each study moves her real Inline or Roots model with a recorded dolphin whistle, next to a schematic of the hardware that would do it.

Speeds come from the cited sources. Nitinol figures are Dynalloy's Flexinol table for 0.003″ wire. Every animation here is a schematic: geometry from Livia's print files, motion computed from the measured pitch and level of the recording, with simple first-order lags for each mechanism. None of it is a physical simulation of the materials.
